Design
The design process is determined by the needs assessment and additional factors.
Do you need a site tomorrow? No problem! We'll use a classy template-based design with your company's logo, artwork and imagery to get you up and running in no time.
Do you want something particularly unique and tailored to your organization? Then, we'll begin with a design meeting to discover:
- your tastes, and the tastes of your likely visitors
- proper and catchy color schemes
- whether animations or other flash-based media are appropriate
- whether you have any photography needs, or if stock photography is appropriate
- whether you have and E-Commerce Requirements such as reservations processing or a web based catalog and/or shopping cart system
- what your database needs might be
- whether the design will require a content management system wrapped around your site for independent updating by your personnel
- the nature of any video content – if required
- whether dynamic Content such as Flash or PHP is required
After the meeting, we will design a few templates for you to review, and we'll grow from there!
Development
Once a conceptual design is approved, we begin the coding process. We utilize the latest tools and standards to develop your site.
- Databases are designed and developed
- E-Commerce requirements are implemented
- Content Management system requirements are implemented
- Photographs are optimized for quality and sized for the web
- Video content is shot, edited, optimized for the web, and implemented n the site
- Unit and system testing is performed in preparation for usability testing
- Usability Testing
- Testing Forms, Database & E-Commerce Systems
- Adjustments are made based on usability testing in preparation for user acceptance testing (your final review of the website and it’s content)
